This man is "waiting to die in prison" for selling two bags of pot

Fate Vincent Winslow was arrested in 2008 for selling $20 worth of marijuana to a plainclothes police officer. Winslow was homeless and hungry, and agreed to buy weed for the disguised cop. Because of his previous nonviolent drug charges, a judge sentenced him to the maximum sentence of life in jail with hard labor, and no possibility of parole.
Clearly, life in prison is not even close to a fair punishment. Winslow writes, "Life for two bags of weed, people kill people and get five years." He's currently in the Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola, serving a life sentence for being a "habitual offender".
Share to spread the word about Winslow's case, and end the war on non-violent drug offenders!

Even as more Americans toke up legally, many are still rotting behind bars for marijuana offenses.
